Die UB Tübingen bietet …
… Herausgeberinnen und Herausgebern von wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften die Möglichkeit, für das Publizieren und die Verwaltung des redaktionellen Prozesses das Managementsystem Open Journal Systems (OJS) zu nutzen. OJS ermöglicht die bequeme Abwicklung des gesamten elektronischen Publikationsprozesses im Webbrowser: von der Beitragseinreichung über die Begutachtung (Peer Review) und die Archivierung bis zur Veröffentlichung im Netz.
Die Bereitstellung der Software erfolgt als Serviceleistung der UB Tübingen.

Wie verwende ich OJS?
Sobald wir Ihre Zeitschrift für Sie grundeingerichtet haben, können Sie anfangen, Ausgaben Ihrer Zeitschrift anzulegen und den einzelnen Mitarbeiter/-innen ihre Rollen zuzuordnen:
Autor/-innen können sich dann online bei OJS anmelden und ihre Artikel durch Hochladen bei Ihnen einreichen. Die Metadaten werden von ihr/ihm bei der Einreichung mitgeliefert.
Diese Einreichung wird dann von Ihrem Redaktionsteam über OJS an eine/n Gutachter/in weitergeleitet.
Nach Durchlaufen der Lektoratsarbeiten (Lektorat, Layout und Korrekturlesen) wird die fertige Manuskript-Fahne durch eine/n Redakteur/-in einer Ausgabe der Zeitschrift zugeordnet.
Am Ende steht die Publikation der aktuellen Ausgabe auf der Zeitschriften-Webseite.

Curare. Journal of Medical Anthropology
The journal Curare offers an international and interdisciplinary forum for the scientific discussion of medical anthropological topics, covering all aspects of health, illness, medicine and healing in the past and present in all parts of the world.
It was founded in 1978 by the AGEM – Association for Anthropology and Medicine (until 2018 Arbeitsgemeinschaft Ethnomedizin). Until 2007 it bore the subtitle Zeitschrift für Ethnomedizin und Transkulturelle Psychiatrie, since 2008 the subtitle has been Zeitschrift für Medizinethnologie.
The articles are subject to a peer-review process. In addition to research articles, conference reports and book reviews are also published. The "Forum" section also provides space for essays, interviews and ethnographic vignettes. Curare publishes articles in English and is the only journal for medical anthropology in German. It supports the publication of special issues through guest editorships. It currently publishes two issues per year.Curare Journal does not charge authors any costs for publication (so-called article processing charges) or submission (so-called submission charges).

The Zeitschrift für junge Religionswissenschaft is an international double-blind peer-reviewed online journal by committed young scholars of the study of religion. The ZjR is published once a year and offers a platform for current and future scholars in the field and their new, sometimes unorthodox, certainly exciting, and forward-looking ideas, theories, methods, and perspectives on the field of religion(s). Since 2006, the ZjR has been a platform and network for new, innovative ideas for the future of the study of religion.

Zeitschrift für Ethnologie/Journal of Social and Cultural Anthropology
The Zeitschrift für Ethnologie (ZfE) was first published in 1869 In Berlin. It is published jointly by two academic societies: the German Association for Social and Cultural Anthropology (GAA/DGSKA) and the Berlin Society for Anthropology, Ethnology and Prehistory (BGAEU).
For the GAA/DGSKA, Prof. Dr. Gabriele Alex (Tübingen) acts as editor, for the BGAEU, Prof. Dr. Alexis von Poser (Berlin) acts as editor. They are supported by an editorial team of eight experienced academics.
Since 2020 the Zeitschrift for Ethnologie also has an English name: Journal of Social and Cultural Anthropology (JSCA).
